Dormitory application online

Would you like to rent a room in one of our halls of residence? Then you can submit your application using our online form.

Notes:

1. Places in our halls of residence are very popular and fill up quickly. Therefore, submit your application early – even if you have not yet been admitted. A residence hall application does not guarantee a residence hall place, as demand exceeds our capacity.
2. Receipt of the application will be confirmed by e-mail. This must then be confirmed by you. The dormitory application is only active after confirmation.
3. Applications for a place in a hall of residence remain on the waiting list for 400 days. We send a request e-mail every 30 days. Within 5 days, you must confirm via a link that you are still interested in a place in a hall of residence. Otherwise the application will be deactivated.
4. Residence places are allocated approx. 4 to 6 weeks before the move-in date. If a room is available, we will send you a rental offer by e-mail.
5. If you have submitted several applications, only the last one submitted will be considered. If you wish to make changes to your application, please send an email to wohnen@studentenwerk-magdeburg.de.

Dormitory service online

Have you already applied to us via the initial application form and confirmed your details? Or are you already living with us with a valid tenancy agreement? Then you can use the online residence service for:

1. the change of your personal data
2. access to your contracts
3. Inquiries about: Lease extensions and relocation requests
4. General messages
5. the sending of documents as a file upload (e.g. enrollment certificates).

To log in to the dormitory service, please use the e-mail address you used to register with us. If you do not yet have a password, please request one using the “Forgot password?” button at the bottom of the login window.
